6 Bedroom House in Wading River

In our Luxurious Mermaid Inn, you'll have front-row seats to some incomparable Long Island Sounds sunsets. Sit on the large deck or sit directly on the beach for one-of-a-kind views. Or simply dip and relax in the hot tub while sipping a glass of wine and admiring the view of the water.
This 6-bedroom beach house sleeps 12. The master bedroom with a King bed and one of the Queen bedrooms has its own access to the balcony. Two of the 6 bedrooms are divided by pocket doors for privacy. The open floor concept allows you to move around the kitchen. The home also comes with central air/heating. There is a sunroom with wrap-around windows where you can have a spectacular view of the ocean from sunrise to sunset. A river rocks fireplace is always ready during cold nights and/or wintertime. You can also enjoy outdoor dining with an outdoor BBQ grill or have dinner inside with the whole family in a large dining room that seats 12! Have a great time and have fun in the game room on a pool table, a foosball, and an air hockey table.
When you book a getaway with us, you are guaranteed essential amenities including free parking, WIFI, and cable TV. Nearly all of our homes also come with kayaks to keep adventure close by. You are free to explore local destinations including the vineyards for wine tasting, farm stands to support local growers, a close-knit beach community, and nature reserves to explore. The five-star restaurants are minutes away as well as the Hamptons, Greenport, Montauk, and/or Shelter Island.

Summary: It's hard to beat this spot! Right on the beach, next to the playground, close to town - it's an amazing location! The hot tub was a huge hit for the kids, and the set up inside is functional and cozy. Debbie and Virginia were very responsive and settled issues quickly. All in all, a great stay!

Reviewer Comments: With so many beach destinations available from which to choose, we took a chance on The Long Island rocky shore. This house was situated in a quiet little hamlet that rested between the beach and a marsh lending wonderful views from both sides of the home. The house was in good shape and we really didn’t need to bring much more than our water shoes. Debbie was available to answer questions at a moments notice and the six of us really enjoyed our stay. Sunsets, kayaking and bonfires were the best. House decks are fab. The only things amiss were the lack of a broom and decent wine key! This vacation home was great.

House is roomy and private. Lots of nice amenities. The only thing I would point out is the bedroom configuration upstairs for the 8 guests is very much connected, and all share 1 bathroom. This worked fine for our trip not sure it would for couples (limited privacy).
